School Council Meeting - Postponed to November

Unfortunately, we have to postpone the School Council meeting originally planned for the evening of October 19. We are hoping to reschedule in November and will share the date once it is confirmed.

Semester 1 Report Cards

During this semester, families/caregivers will receive three student report cards;  the Interim Report, Mid-Semester Report and Semester End Report. Each report card will provide you with information about your child’s achievement throughout the semester. Interim reports are part of the ongoing communication from our school to support your child’s academic achievement and well-being. We hope that this report will provide valuable feedback for your child and support in the conversations about their learning at home. Distribution of your child’s interim report card for the first semester will begin on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Parents/guardians/caregivers can gain access to their child’s report cards through our new Family Dashboard. Please ensure your email on file with the school office is up to date. Your child will continue to access their report card via their Student Google account (GAPPS).

Parent / Guardian Teacher Interview Night

Parent/Guardian-Teacher Interview Night is on Thursday, October 22, from 6:00-8:00 pm.  You will have an opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher(s) in person and learn more about their courses. Parents can use TeachAssist, an online platform, to schedule a meeting time with their children’s teacher(s) on Parent/Guardian-Teacher Interview Night. All students in our school currently have a TeachAssist account to access information associated with their class assessments.

Parents/guardians may access appointment bookings on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 through the TeachAssist Parent Portal available at https://ta.yrdsb.ca/parents. From there, enter in your email address and leave the password blank to set up a one time access link, or to reset a password that you've created. An email will be sent with a time limited link that will look similar to this:

Once logged in, parents/guardians will have the option to set up a password. For instructions on how to book a parent-teacher interview through TeachAssist, please click here.
